My current trend in writing is to treat it like bits of code. Debugging as time goes on (fixing spelling/grammarish issues).

Most of these poems will rest the way they are written, but given time and interest many will see a patches or 2 before it is over.

alibi

you wearing that
disguise
like
a mask
a freshly painted coat
a buffer
a wall divider
a cubicle
commonly it seems to be
the thief
scheduled
into the alley
the when or why
of
where is the alibi
now

it sits
on the forth floor
where a store
got stacked
upwards
sky limit
heaven french door
the parking meter peaked
at that moment
when
your just about ready
seems good enough
cause
the fall
is coming
it is standing there
without a stir
without a straw
awaiting
just before sleep
is a fine alibi
if there is one
at all

another turn
around another
stop sign
off the road
into the distance
the candy cane
or a dagger
let out of it's sheath
into the wild
into the air
the alibi
that can't seem to
make it
around the next
corner
always one witness away
always one dime short
always one more lesson
always one last page to turn
always one figure to burn
a square
a line
the dot
a semaphore
you can hear
from the gravel road
from the ballpark
from the fevers pitch
from here
from outer space
and beyond
